The 2018 Ram has three engine options. The first is a 5.7-liter V8 with 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. This engine can easily be upgraded to the 6.4-liter V8 with 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. The final engine is a 6.7-liter turbocharged diesel inline-6. This engine has the option of a manual or automatic transmission. The manual transmission has 350 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque, while the automatic transmission has 370 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque. The off-roader Power Wagon trim comes with LED taillights, tow hooks, Bilstein off-road shock absorbers, extensive mechanical upgrades, and aggressive all-terrain tires.
