Sure! There are four different trims available: Sport, Latitude, Limited, and Trailhawk. Beginning with the first trim we have the Compass Sport. It is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration, and a six-speaker sound system. With automatic dual-zone control, a 60/40-split rear bench seat, and first-and-second row USB ports, the Sport boasts a very comfortable ride for all passengers! After the Sport we move up to the Latitude which comes standard with alloy wheels, foglights and automatic headlights, and roof rails. Stepping up the style game a bit, the Latitude is outfitted with a leather-wrapped steering wheel, keyless ignition and entry, and satellite radio! The penultimate trim level is the Compass limited which comes with a full safety and security suite along with a remote engine start, power-adjustable driver’s seat, 8.4-inch touchscreen, and color information driver display, heated front seats and steering wheel, and smooth leather upholstery to put luxury over the edge! This brings us to the Trailhawk. The Trailhawk is based on the Latitude trim but is made to be off-road ready, so it comes equipped with a raised suspension, underbody skid plates, an aggressive front and rear look with the infamous red tow hooks, hill descent control, and off-road-oriented tires!
Can you tell me about the engine and handling?
When you pop the hood of the 2021 Jeep Compass, you’ll find the 2.4-liter Tigershark with engine stop-start (ESS) technology, a very fuel-efficient engine that is mated with either a class-exclusive nine-speed automatic transmission for 4×4 models, or a six-speed automatic transmission for 4×2 models. The Trailhawk model comes with 4×4 Jeep Active Drive Low System and features a best-in-class 20:1 crawl ratio. In addition, the Trailhawk is equipped with Jeep Selec-Terrain which has five drive modes: Auto, Snow, Sand, Mud and Rock, making it outstanding when it comes to handling, performance, and capability.
What are the safety options on the Jeep Compass?
Your safety is of the utmost importance to Jeep, which is why there are over 70 safety and security options available to Jeep Compass drivers!
