What’s under the hood of the Renegade?
All versions of the Renegade are powered by the same excellent engine! When you lift the hood of the Renegade, you’ll be greeted by a turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder that pumps out an outstanding 177 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. Paring with this engine is a nine-speed automatic transmission which will give you a smooth ride both on and off the road. The Sport comes standard with front-wheel-drive though all-wheel-drive is an available option. The Latitude and the Limited come standard with all-wheel-drive, and the Trailhawk is standard with a specialized four-wheel-drive system. You can go anywhere and do anything in the Jeep Renegade!
What are the standard features for the Renegade?
One of the best things about the Renegade is that you get a ton of advanced features even at the base trim level. This base trim is known as the Sport, and it comes standard with some fantastic tech items such as a 7-inch Uconnect 4 system with Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and SiriusXM, which is simple and easy to use. There is plenty of safety equipment here, too, as the Sport comes standard with blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-path detection, lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist, forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and a backup camera. Additional features include dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, heated mirrors, steel wheels, and 6-speaker audio.
