Available Trim Levels and Options
The new 2025 Ram Chassis Cab includes the following trim levels:
- Tradesman® (3500/4500/5500 4×4-available): This work-ready trim includes heavy-duty vinyl seating, a remote charge-only USB port, four-speaker audio, manual door locks, manual windows, push-button start, black exterior manual telescoping mirrors, and black bumpers.
- Big Horn® (3500/4500/5500 4×4-only): This feature-packed, upgraded trim adds a conventional differential front axle, right/left power take-off, a trailer light check, a transfer case skid-plate, cloth seating surfaces, four-way adjusting front headrests, six-speaker audio, an overhead console, a storage tray, power windows, and power locks.

This heavy-duty truck features a 370 horsepower 6.4-liter HEMI® V8 engine on the 3500 model and can carry a 7,760 lbs. maximum payload and haul up to 18,610 lbs. The 4500 and 5500 models feature an upgraded 429-horsepower variation of the engine, pushing maximum trailering to a staggering 21,240 pounds.
However, drivers looking to bring along the heaviest of trailers should check out the available 360 horsepower 6.7-liter Cummins® Turbo Diesel I6 engine, which pushes 800 lb.-ft. of torque and offers 34,540 lbs. of maximum trailering when properly configured. Available in 4×2 and 4×4 configurations, this truck comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and offers an optional, upgraded 8-speed TorqueFlite HD automatic transmission. The 2025 Ram Chassis Cab is available in both Regular Cab and Crew Cab configurations, which seat up to 3 and 6 occupants, respectively. This heavy-duty pickup truck doesn’t skimp on entertainment features, coming standard with a Uconnect® 5 with an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay®, wireless Android Auto™, a 4G LTE WiFi® hotspot, and SiriusXM®.
