Ram Reveals New 2019 Tradesman Model
We have been eagerly awaiting not just the 2019 Ram 1500, but the Tradesman trim! That is why we’re happy to say that the Tradesman model was revealed at the National Truck Equipment Association’s “The Work Truck Show”, which took place in Indianapolis, Indiana. This truck is aimed right at the largest consumer category in order to help with construction job sites, small businesses, and even commercial fleets. The first Tradesman model was launched in 2011, and since then we cannot get enough! Ram has maintained the highest owner loyalty, and we are positive that the 2019 1500 Tradesman will keep that tradition by delivering exactly what truck lovers are looking for. What kind of power can the Tradesman produce?
This Tradesman model comes with the standard Pentastar 3.6-liter V6 engine. However, you can also choose to have the HEMI 5.7-liter V8 or even the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 eTorque. All of these systems are incredibly efficient and powerful. The choices don’t stop there. You can pick between 4×2 and 4×4, depending on what you might want to use this pickup truck for. To further prove the power we’re discussing, the Tradesman has the capability to tow up to 12,750 pounds, and even up to 2,300 pounds of payload. Those capabilities come with the four-door quad cab. This means that no matter what you need to tow, the Tradesman is more than capable to handle the task at hand.
What standard features come with the Tradesman?
There are many features that you’ll find in the Tradesman model, and that is part of the reason why we love this model so much! Some of the standard features include power windows, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, cargo bed lamp, power door locks, a theft-deterrent system, a locking tailgate, lap belts on all six seats, vinyl or cloth 40/20/40-split bench seats, hands-free calling, a 12-volt auxiliary power outlet, Uconnect 5.0 with a five-inch screen, automatic headlamps, front and rear Frequency REsponse Damping shock absorbers, and remote keyless entry. If you want to add onto the standard features then you can choose from a long list of options. Some of those options include rubber floor mats, anti-spin rear differential, Mopar chrome side steps, rear electric-locking differential, spray-in bed liner, an off-road package with factory suspension lift, and folding trailer-tow mirrors.
