The Tradesman is the classic work truck that’s perfect for tackling all of your toughest jobs! This is a useful, utilitarian truck with all the essential features to get the job done. Under the hood, the Tradesman features a 3.6-liter V6 engine, delivering 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. To help enhance the 1500’s fuel efficiency, this engine pairs with a 48-volt eTorque mild-hybrid system, as well as the TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. The Tradesman also features the all-new air filter which can remove up to 95% of air contaminants like smoke, dust, and even bacteria from your cabin. Another new standard feature found on the Tradesman is the LED trailer hitch lights, for exceptional visibility at all times. Other features include work-grade vinyl seats, a five-inch digital display, and 18-inch wheels.

The second trim level for the Ram 1500 lineup is the Big Horn, or as it’s known in Texas, the Lone Star. This trim level picks up where the Tradesman left off while also incorporating its own unique features. Some of these include swapping out the black bumper of the Tradesman for a chrome bumper, door handles, and grille surround. On the inside, the Big Horn comes equipped with a 60/40 split-folding rear seat bench, with available in-floor storage to keep your items safely stowed. It also features a leather-wrapped steering wheel, fog lights, and carpeted floor mats. There’s also a new Big Horn BackCountry Edition model, which adds off-road features like all-terrain tires, hill-descent control, steel skid plates, and specialty badging. There are also premium bed features like spray-in bedliner, and LED in-bed lighting.

The Laramie marks a turning point in the Ram 1500 lineup, where things start to feel a bit more elegant and refined! The Laramie begins to add in more upscale features, starting with the newest-generation Uconnect 5 infotainment system. This system is available for the first two trims, but comes standard with the Laramie. This system features an 8.4-inch touchscreen, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. If your truck is shared with multiple drivers, don’t worry! The Uconnect 5 allows you to customize up to five different user profiles so everyone can keep their preferences saved. The Laramie also comes with leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated and ventilated front seats. Other features include a remote start system, a 9-speaker sound system, and satellite radio.

The Rebel trim stands out from the other Ram 1500 models thanks to its bold and sporty design. The Rebel is the off-road trim, and it comes with features like front tow hooks, an electronic locking rear axle, and a hill-descent control system that will automatically apply the brakes to help you navigate steep inclines with ease. It also comes with steel skid plates to protect the undercarriage, and a Class IV tow hitch receiver. The Rebel has a strong appearance thanks to its exclusive grille design, as well as a black and red interior emblazoned with the Rebel badge on the front seats. For 2022, there’s a new G/T package available for the Laramie and Rebel trims, that adds sporty performance-oriented features to both models. The package includes race-ready elements like a metal pedal kit, aluminum paddle shifters, and a flat-bottomed steering wheel.

The Limited Longhorn builds upon the more upscale features of the Laramie, but presents its own Southwestern flair. The Limited Longhorn features a strong exterior appearance, complete with 20-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights with automatic high beams, and chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps. You can even opt for a two-tone color option to really add on to the Limited Longhorn’s unique style. On the interior, this trim level features genuine Barnwood accents alongside premium leather-trimmed seats. The front seats also bear the Limited Longhorn badge embossed into the leather upholstery. The Limited Longhorn also comes with rain-sensing windshield wipers, front and rear parking sensors, and the available RamBox cargo management system.

Last but certainly not least, the Ram 1500’s 2022 lineup is topped off by the Limited, which proudly offers the most luxurious interior of any truck in its class! The Limited’s interior features premium leather seats with quilted leather accents, real wood trim, and heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats. The Limited features the Uconnect 5 NAV infotainment system, which adds integrated TomTom navigation, as well as a massive 12-inch touchscreen, and a wireless smartphone charging pad. The Limited trim also offers a more powerful engine, which is the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 rated at 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine is available either with or without the eTorque mild-hybrid system, and also pairs with the 8-speed automatic transmission. For the 2022 model year, there’s a new Limited 10th Anniversary Edition model available, which celebrates the trim level’s decade-long legacy. This model comes with premium leather interior, a unique Blue Shade paint color, and a 19-speaker sound system.
